This 500,000-gallon legged tank project involved a full rehabilitation, including structural repairs and complete abrasive blasting of both the interior and exterior surfaces.
A key challenge on this project was the containment system, which required a customized approach due to the wide spacing of the tank’s support legs. Classic Protective Coatings team demonstrated strong adaptability in addressing this issue. Our in-house welder took the lead in reinforcing and modifying the containment system, making precise adjustments to ensure it functioned safely and effectively despite the non-standard configuration.
Through this hands-on problem-solving and willingness to tailor solutions to the jobsite conditions, the crew maintained steady progress and high-quality standards throughout the project.
The team successfully completed the exterior finish coating and finalized the installation of the tank logo, bringing the rehabilitation to completion.
This project highlights the crew’s ability to adapt to unique challenges, implement customized solutions, and deliver a high-quality finished product.
